Bonavita BV1900TD. Has a Thermal Carafe, is programmable, has a pre-infusion mode for freshly ground coffee and it just makes a darn good cup of coffee.

Your telling me that your fridge doesn't have a keurig in it?

I thought this was the fricking OT. Where have all the OT ballers gone?

My fridge has an app, you set the time, and wake up to the coffee being ready to go.

My brother has a Jura and I probably drank a hundred dollars in coffee when I stayed with him last year.

But it's been in the shop twice, both times for the grinder.

broke down and got a Jura myself.... outstanding cup of coffee.

Ninja not bad (we had one of those too and you can set it like the others)

Mr. Coffee is old faithful.

K-cups taste like plastic.

We were similar. French press/aeropress people who needed the convenience of a drip.

We had the Kitchenaid autopourover, which was pretty good. We currently have this Cuisinart LINK and it works well, we're pretty happy with it.

There are way more SCAA drip makers than ever before, so you've got options. The OXO is pretty good I've heard, and we use their burr grinder. Totally disagree that all drip makers are the same.

Honestly, I have tried all kinds of fancy shite and, to me, the best coffee still comes from the simple old two-piece aluminum coffee pot that you pour water into the top and it flows down through the grinds into the pot.

Have this NinjaMakes a cup, xl cup, travel mug, xl travel mug, half a pot or a full pot. Makes different brew strengths(normal, rich, over ice, cold brew or speciality like cappuccino), has a frother in the side for cappuccinos. Also brews hot or cold tea. Paired with whole beans from atlas coffee club and it makes an outstanding cup of coffee. I love it.

Brew Express. Made in Washington, small company. Talked to the founder, he is an engineer himself. Thermal carafe, can make a half pot or full pot. I set it the night before and it’s ready when I walk out the door.

I usually make French press for myself but bought a new drip maker for guests and crowds, Calphalon Special Brew. It’s nothing fancy but surprisingly, it brews a really tasty cup compared to cheaper drip makers. It is programable.

Can you give a couple of examples of types and brands you would recommend please?
