Yeah, I would think they have a decent idea of where it went down if they know it was at an altitude of 50-feet when it last provided a location.

just saying if they were following it inland it may have come from the gulf and may not have been communicating with ATC, kind of an attention getter in that part of the gulf

He was flying from Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
