The swastika used as a symbol of Nazi Germany faces the other direction and appears to be turning in a counter-clockwise fashion. The one shown on the coin and in the Zelda screen shot in a following post are historically symbols associated with luck and are not the Nazi symbol.

I mean, the swastika is older than the Nazi party. Just because a rope has a loop in it doesn't mean its after black folks. The confederate flag i dont care. For most ppl its a symbol of southern pride and heritage and for others its a symbol of a bunch of democrats using analog EBT and not wanting the government involved. It's not even the freaking confederate flag they're talking about either. If you dont already know, the GA state flag IS the Confederate Flag but with the GA seal instead of the stars. Idiots thought they won when the old battleflag was removed from it in the early 2000s.

Society will become much better when this hare brained idea that being a contrarian makes one “smart”, “edgy”, or “in the know”.

These dumb motherfrickers will tell you the sky isn’t blue, it’s chicken. Then act like you’re the idiot for telling them they’re wrong.

I thought it was a reversal, but it appears the official CG and DHS position is that it was false reporting.

So the State is on record saying they fricked up, get admonished by th court and ordered to clear this up by today, they come back and completely renege on the statements they previously made on the record? Someone caught some heat and instead of pushing back, they just opened themselves up to disbarment and perjury. Brilliant!

“We don’t deserve the trust of the nation if we’re unclear about the divisiveness of swastikas,” an anonymous Coast Guard official who has seen the new policy told the paper.

Well hell, if we are going to quote an imaginary coast guard officer, aboot 350 anonymous Coast guard officers told us that "shite would have been better under Old Word Salad".

Hate symbols, leprechauns, unicorns, flying monkeys, and other imaginary things too.

Imagining that real things from history don't exist is pretty low IQ.
