Race shouldn't matter but it does in this case because race is why GC is defending TCA. If a white COA director had done this to that old lady, GC would be calling for her head instead of defending her

In most cases yes. But not this case. He is protecting her because she is connected. The inner circle is rallying around her. But race is the only argument GC knows. It has been a rally the troops call that has worked in their favor. Hell they even tried that argument when this is black taking advantage of black. It only makes this whole ordeal even more ridiculous.

I actually agree with you on this, to an extent. Her race has nothing to do with her violating the code of ethics and bylaws. The only place where race comes into this is when those that defend her claim that this is a white conspiracy to gut an organization run by a black woman with a newly doubled budget. In fact, that argument is what caused the black family of the deceased to say that it's not a race issue despite the fact that they have a beef with another black woman. It's beyond absurd.

Exactly.
I'm not sure if TCAs intentions were to swindle money or if that lady legit wanted to give it to her. The problems that I have with this is her obvious COI as well as her exorbitant stake in this estate for such an exorbitant length of time. As I understand it, she'll be in control of the estate until the beneficiaries are 30 years old. It doesn't take 21 years to sell a house and clean up a few financial accounts.
