You guys need a serious gentrification of North BR, or all will be lost in the next 10 years. It will look like Detroit, and LSU will suffer from it.
Need some one with $$ to begin redeveloping NBR, and pushing Riff Raff Other directions and out of BR. Thankfully for Me, the Bosnians became the Buffer and pushed the riff raff back North and out of the Area.

I know we all think Sjw's and Hispters suck, but they can be the tools to help get BR back on it's path.
They will buy new condos in shite areas, and help bring more in to clean the area up, while riff raff is pushed else where.
Seen it in several cities, New York took super shite areas and gentrified it with big developers and those areas are nice to move into. St.Louis, had they kept the Rams, was in motion to redevelop a huge piece of the area North of Arch. A bunch of Condos next to river, all kinds of shite to clean area up. Now, the area will continue to be shite.

As a board member she should have known better, as an Atty. she should have know better & as a Professor with areas of expertise listed as Elder Law, Rights of the Elderly, Successions Law, Trusts, Community Property she sure as hell should have known better.

There have been several attempts at this but the issue is the city council. They won't allow anything too nice to be constructed without making sure there's a sprinkling of ghetto in the project. There was a residential/commercial project proposed in mid city but was rejected because it didn't have any/not enough section 8 housing. Even the new apartments downtown have to have a certain percentage of low income/section 8 residents.
