Got back today and someone has my chair. I am left with a clunker. If I ask he's gonna say he's always had that chair. I don't want to make a scene. Think I will just wait till he leaves and get it back for tomorrow.

I would tie fishing line to different objects on his desk and attach them to the chair while he’s in the bathroom. When he comes back and pulls his chair out to sit back down, they’ll go flying.

We had a fat tech guy who would break his chair by leaning back in it for naps. His chair was the same as those in our conference room, so he would wait until everyone had left and swap his broken chair for a good one. I caught him doing it one night, but didn't say anything because everyone was freaking out about the mystery of the broken chairs. Eventually they bought all new chairs for the conference room that didn't match his, so he was out of luck.
