If everyone had that attitude we wouldn't have any legal states in the first place.

Nah according to some people, you should never fight for your beliefs or freedom.

Just whatever happens, happens

The O-T: "Louisiana sucks, it should be more like other states."

Also the O-T: "If you don't like Louisiana, then just move!"

Never change, O-T.

Weed should be local option.

That way, the Bible Thumpers in N LA can just say no, while the rest of us approve it.

Of course... we approved Fantasy Sports in most parishes, and yet... still don't have that.

Legalize marijuana and make billions in revenue? No thanks

I wonder how profitable our current batch of legal medical marijuana crop is doing for LSU and Southern.

I know the 2 schools partnered with a 3rd parties to grow it and refine it.

Under Colorado’s recreational use law, you may grow no more than 12 plants per residence. (Colo. Const. art. XVIII, § 16; Colo. Rev. Stat. § 18-18-406 (2019).) Local laws, however, may impose stricter controls over the number of marijuana plants you are allowed to possess. So be sure to check your city and county ordinances before you start growing.

It’s a fricking plant. There should be NO LAWS regarding someone growing it. PERIOD. If you bootlickers want to pay taxes and deal with stupid regulations, that’s fine. Leave the rest of us out of it.

Can you imagine some cop coming by your house to count your tomato plants or to make sure you hadn’t grown too many cucumbers? fricking joke.

The crazy thing is if they put it on a ballot for a vote, it would likely pass by a wide margin in most Southern states.

Do these particular states have ways for citizen pushed/sponsored (bypassing legislators) voter referendums to be placed on state wide ballots?

many don't. But Oklahoma, one of the reddest states there is, had citizen ballot initiatives and passed medical weed. In reality, this is legalized weed as long as you pay for a doctor visit.
