The crazy thing is if they put it on a ballot for a vote, it would likely pass by a wide margin in most Southern states.

And then they want to regulate the absolute shite out of it.

I'm all for legalization but I should be able to grow a weed farm in my backyard if I want to.

What about the hundreds of fatal overdoses every year??
You spelled "10's of thousands annual deaths caused by booze" wrong.

MS has decriminalized 1st offense possession of 30g or less. thats the only meaningful law in the south i am aware of, and thats a long fricking way from legal on-site consumption

We just approved on site consumption (pot cafes) here in AK.

I've had the idea of starting a smoking club when legal.

First off, I was in Denver recently and didn't notice a problem with the number of homeless people. Perhaps they weren't in the area of the city I was in.

Denver 100% has a homeless problem

There is legal medical and Florida might have recreational coming into the ballot for 2020. They have some political folks that now have a foothold in the medical dispensaries so there will be political backing.

I found an article: LINK

Also, I think when Florida passed a legal hemp law they accidentally made marijuana legal to posses. Some state attorneys said they would stop prosecuting cases because they couldn't differentiate between legal hemp and pot.
