Gee it's almost like sexual attraction is controlled by biology and not social conditioning.

The recent rise of weight loss medications coincided with social media influencers sharing ways to get smaller and no longer celebrating bodies of all sizes. Advertisements followed suit, making men’s desire once again a dominating factor in how stories are told, and how women are portrayed.

she lives in fantasy land. nothing has ever changed but media, people have and always will be, people.

Funny but totally right. How many action figures or dolls do you see that have a figure like Don Rickles?

These types of editorials are always constructed the same way:
1) Identify an ill-defined unquantifiable thing that is happening, back, etc
2) Make that "thing" synonymous with all manner of other ills you perceive in the world
3) Use anecdotal examples, not readily available broad statistics (which would actually prove your points) to make your case
4) Imply or flat out suggest that the cause of the thing, and those associated ills that are inextricably tied to it, is any or all of a) white, b) male, c) conservative, or d) Christian
5) Rinse, repeat

Just a guess…but author is probably fat and ugly.

Also, I find it funny that this woman references the struggles of her mother and grandmother for equality while at the same time very likely being entirely in favor of men taking over and dominating every realm that was historically reserved and safe for women only.
She considers that belief and desire to be progress and not at odds with what her mother and grandmother fought for. Make it make sense.

She actually looks quite cute, which is funny because in the picture she's wearing lots of makeup, likely lash extensions, nice clothes, professionally colored hair, and hair extensions.

Just saw that. I would gaze at her in those running tights.
