I want a M14
Currently my favorite rifle to shoot is a true Belgian FAL (pre import ban)
I shoot cormorants out of the sky with it on the farm using iron sights. Incredibly accurate (I have a depradation permit before anyone tells me that’s illegal)

I’d be happy with a M1 Carbine, but they’re over $1300 online.

I have an M1A, but want a FAL. I just didn't realize how important it was to have tried harder to buy one before I got married.

This is why my wife and I have separate accounts. We agree on who pays what bills and what’s put up for saving/retirement but after that her money is hers and mine is mine. If I want a gun I go buy one and she can’t say anything. Same if she buys a purse or shoes. As long as the responsibilities are taken care of first
I’m sorry but nobody is gonna tell me how to spend my hard earned disposable income
