No, she didn't. What she did was point out that anyone boycotting the Oscars on the grounds of racism due to no black nominees for best actor/actress should also be boycotting things like the BET awards since no whites are EVER nominated because the awards are black-only and you just can't get more racist than purposely limiting an award to people only of a certain color.

tl;dr - the blacks bitching are hypocrites

I don't think you understand what racism really is.

Will we have a white and black CFB Playoff? Because that would be interesting

I'm sure there are at least a couple of fans in Cincinnati that could get behind this.

And I was saying this, more or less, to give the people what they want.

Would ending BHM really accomplish anything?

Well, yes it would and a prominent black man (Morgan Freeman) would agree. Except that he doesn't get trashed by the media or anyone else.
quote:

Famed Journalist Mike Wallace asked the famous actor his opinion on the idea:

“Black History Month, you find … ?”

Morgan Freeman gave a one-word answer: “Ridiculous.”

“Why?” asked the veteran news reporter.

“You’re going to relegate my history to a month?” asked Freeman. “What do you do with yours? Which month is white history month? No, come on, tell me,” he continued.

“Well, I’m Jewish,” responded Mike Wallace.

Freeman kept pressuring for an answer. “Okay. Which month is Jewish history month?”

“There isn’t one,” replied Wallace.

“Oh. Oh, why not? Do you want one?” asked Morgan Freeman in response.

Wallace said “No.”

“I don’t either,” explained Freeman. “I don’t want a Black History Month. Black history is American history.”

A clearly surprised Wallace then moved right into the larger topic of racism, to which Freeman gave one of the greatest answers on the subject ever uttered:

“How are we going to get rid of racism and — ”

“Stop talking about it. I’m going to stop calling you a white man, and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man,” said Freeman.

“I know you as Mike Wallace. You know me as Morgan Freeman. You want to say, `Well, I know this white guy named Mike Wallace?’ You know what I’m saying?” he asked.

As others have said in this thread. Morgan's point was very different than Dash's.

I don't give two shits about BHM. Having BHM, not having BHM makes no difference to me.

Just seems like some people are against (or for) BHM for completely the wrong reasons.

Her point was that their shouldn't be award shows that require you to be black to receive an award.

her actual point was that black folks shouldn't segregate themselves.

Ok. So what?

Well, if a company only has, say, 10% non-whites working for them, they are likely going to be criticized at some point. Same could be said for BET award shows.

You're taking her "you're only awarded if you're black" comment to heart, and it's causing you to miss the big picture in what she's trying to say.

She's for integration, in all facets of life. Ok, she was wrong about a couple of non blacks winning an award. Cool, you got her Johnny. Zing, gotcha bitch.

Now can we get back to discussing what she's really trying to say now that you got that out of your system?

No offense, but this is narrow minded. You can have beliefs and opinions but be open to changing your mind if you hear a better argument.

So you're 100% confident about everything you think and believe?

I know there are subjects where I don't know as much as the next guy. I can still have an opinion while acknowledging that it's about something I haven't fully studied.
