That would be part of the problem.

It makes sense, but it's dumb:

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there."

NO shite!

I can't remember when I heard this critique or who I heard critique this saying, but now, every time someone says it, I wanna kick a cat!

Cliches/Sayings that do not make sense

There's a whole book of them called the Bible.

We get this wrong all the time. A steep learning curve actually means something is easy to learn.

I always took it as learning relative to time available to learn it in.

So if you need to learn something really quick or learn a lot in a short period (usually because you weren't expecting to have to learn it) you have a steep learning curve. If you can take as much time as required or suggested, you have a fairly flat learning curve.

What you're talking about relates to time required to adequately learn something. Perhaps that is what it is referring to but, contextually, it seems most people think of it the way I do.

“Money can’t buy happiness”

I suppose it can’t, but it can buy things that make you happy

The most obvious one: "I could care less" This means you care. It should be "I couldn't care less"
Well there's an original one.

(You see, that is what non-retards call "sarcasm", which is what is also being employed in the expression "I could care less". Get it? Sarcasm was invented in the 90s by a man named Chandler Bing, or so I've been told.)

"there's no I in team" One of my first coaches used to say that all the damn time. I got fed up with it and told him there isn't an "I", but there is a "me". He made me run laps until I damn near puked. Ever since then, I cannot stand the saying

I hear on TV and on songs, "Live everyday likes it's your last day." If you knew you'd die in one day, people would blow tons of money, skip work to see family, maybe donate their entire savings to charity, do a lot of law breaking. Point is that you should not live everyday like it's your last day. What are some sayings that don't make sense?

People would be more rapey if they lived this motto.

Have your cake and eat it, too.

Should be, "Eat your cake and have it, too".

Whenever someone tells me this I respond with "Maybe not, but it can make being miserable a much better."
