That only applies to one side.

If it was a white guy posting a racist image, he'd be getting crucified on national television.

Correct.

He also works for the NFL...an organization so hell bent on trying to keep up images it fines players for not wearing matching fricking socks. Even if to cover their arse, you damned well have to know that the NFL is currently fielding a shite ton of calls from police departments nationwide asking that they step in and hand down some punishment.

And...they will, regardless of his right to free speech, because he's their employee.

Nope, this is the NFL, a private business and governed by its own. Athletes who have done far less have been suspended.

frick, S Payton was suspended a whole fricking year for something the league just thought he knew about.

Think about that

frick these motherfrickers like Crowell. They are THE problem
In this instance, Crowell's race will work in his favor. I agree with you 100% but I don't see the NFL making such a strong stand in today's race game.

You nitwits have no idea what his motivation was for apologizing. I guarantee when someone told him how a picture like that could influence children he realized how bad of an idea it was. Maybe, God forbid, he wants to be a positive role model.

Possibly. Or maybe his agent called and tore him a new a-hole and prepared an apology statement for him. Maybe you're too naïve or weak to consider that angle.

Maybe it's just me, but that whole "role model" stance went out the window once he posted a picture of a cop getting beheaded... Call me crazy!

Yea, he's a really good role model.

2012 season

On June 29, Crowell was arrested on felony weapons charges, possession of a weapon in a school zone and possession of a firearm with an altered identification, and the misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed firearm. Crowell was dismissed from the University of Georgia football team due to his arrest and his constant disciplinary problems- including failing a drug a test.

Anytime a celebrity says something that is the tiniest bit racist or uses the n-word, they're never forgiven and scorned for the rest of their life.

I see no reason why people like Isaiah Crowell should be treated any differently concerning their regards for law enforcement.

frick him

That response from Loomis was amazingly candid. I'm glad he didn't give a pc response that we usually see.

This is a chance for Goodell to instantly redeem himself in my eyes.

Ban this TPOS for life from the NFL.

He should be fined, serve a suspension without pay, and be forced to do diversity/sensitivity training, then forced to do extensive volunteer work with the city's police department.

I think he didn't initially grasp the severity of his actions at first. It caught up with him quickly and probably quickly understood the grave mistake he made. You frick up, fine. He's making it right, who's idea it was... who cares... he's still doing it and is publicly expressing his interest in being a solution to a problem he acknowledges he made a mistake in taking part of.

what a bunch of bull shite. It certainly matters who made him do it. It determines if he is sincere or just trying to save his own arse. And if his agent or the Browns forced the retraction and donation, then that proves his desire to be part of the solution is bull shite too. fricking moron deserves to be run off and ostracised if he isn't sincere.
Quite frankly, I don't care if he's sincere or not. He should be shown the door by the Browns and the NFL. And yeah, I'd say the same about a white player.

I have a sneaking suspicion this was discussed on First Take/His and Hers today and he was given a pass because of his "oppression", or at the very least "he shouldn't have done that, but I can understand why he would feel that way"

Despicable act. Someone who posts something like that isn't "sorry". He's sorry there was backlash.
