it's certainly possible
that's why it's turned into this great internet mystery
he could be 100% lying (and calling his mom a whore)

his alleged biological father? i don't think

They also aren't going to make a huge gain by signing him, especially if his salary demands are out of whack. They could be out his salary, plus the negative attention (if he's signed as a backup, the next issue will be "why isn't he starting?") and possible locker room issues he could bring (a possibility not saying certain), while he never steps on the field and contributes in a meaningful way, or the teams could just sit tight and not be affected by the situation. No one is going to boycott their own team if Kaepernick is not signed.

Do you have any material or are you 100% troll today?

I find it hilarious that a dude like Mike Glennon is getting paid
to be fair
CK already had this "so much potential" contract
if glennon sucks for a few years then opts out of his deal and asks for $5-6M/year, he'll likely get the exact same cold shoulder

Again you keep bringing up his salary demands from months ago. They have changed. The Seahawks came out and said that he asked for less and was not seeking a starter role anymore.
Personally I think the "situation" is faux outrage by people looking for something to be upset about.

Why don't black athletes who are unhappy with the "racist NFL" simply refuse to participate in the " racist NFL"? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Nah, you just got triggered bad by the R word. I've said nothing that isn't in earnest, and I even have the dictionary to back me up.
Calm down.
Calm down.

He openly told the Seahawks GM and Carroll that he wasn't asking for starter money. The narrative keeps getting played
Link? I've seen no indication that Kap or his representatives have said anything about anything as of yesterday. I'd love the see where you heard this because I've followed this story pretty close from multiple angles and have heard nothing about what Kap wants.

I couldn't agree more.

I was referring to any salary, if he's a backup you are basically just paying for a headache.

I am employed in a "hard" job. I earn a good living because of it. Does that mean that I am a "Slave"? Are "Slaves" required to be of African American decent? Plenty Anglo Saxon Americans in the NFL. Are they also "Slaves"
btw, I am agreeing with you that the word Slavery does get conveniently tossed around when people are trying to make a point.
I'm just astounded by the absurdity of their position on the topic

Racism has nothing to do with this entire argument. This argument has to do with truth. SK has built his entire career on his personal woes as a black man in America. He claims he has been the victim of white on black racism for 20 years and used that to build a following. If it turns out he's not even black then his entire career is built on a sham that was used to exploit the real struggles of actual black people. Saying stuff like "we, as black men..." when you're not even black is just straight up fraud. LITERALLY.

The truth of Glennon's contract is it's basically a one year deal (if the team chooses). It's a bad comparison.

I don't give a frick what Doug Baldwin thinks or believes... He is one of my keepers in a keeper league I play in... As long as he puts up numbers for me he can think whatever he wants.

This is not consistent with the definition of the word or my point.
1) The tweet is racist regardless of the race of Travis or King. Pledging to donate money if a person is black enough but no money if he isn't black enough is racist.
2) I never claimed that it is racist against King because that's irrelevant. King stands to gain/lose nothing by this proposition.
The term racists is WAY overused it today's climate.
The better word for this is ridiculous, which is what it is.
However, I agree with Clay Travis on this one and would love to see those results.

You sure got riled up about this, and I wasn't even talking to you. They always out themselves, it seems.
