I fully support Alabama's ban on protesting while masked, and think every state should implement the same.
Also have no problem with banning people from hiding their faces in public. Should extend this to muslims.

All criminals should wear ski masks so that when the police shoot ones that are black, they can’t be accused of racism.

I look at it like this. If you want to live in a town that has high crime but doesn't want to ban ski masks, then live in a town that doesn't want to ban them.
If you want to live in a town that doesn't have to worry about that, then you should move to that town.
If these liberal cities want to watch out for every other marginalized group except for yours, then move the frick out.

Even if I accepted the preposterous argument that you shouldn't be prohibited from walking around in polite society wearing a ski mask - which I think most normal people would say qualifies for the see something, say something standard, right, I mean that is certainly not normal behavior - but even if I accepted all that stupidity at face value, then why, other than criminal proclivities, would the impact of such ordinance fall disproportionately on blacks and browns?

These same civil rights groups protested the PPE mask mandates at the beginning of covid saying they were going to invite more racial profiling, and police brutality against blacks. They said cops would claim that mask-wearing blacks looked suspicious, and up to no good. Now, just about four years later, they’ve taken the exact opposite stance. I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

Seeing this on the news makes me wonder why states aren’t making laws to give stiffer penalties/fines for criminals that are using mask. Seems like it would be easy to justify because of the increased time/work required to identify criminals.
