I know that wolf. His name is Mystery. He has cruised that neighborhood at night for nearly a decade.

I think the Dingo ate your baby.

I've seen it multiple times as well. It's a big coyote I think.

We have coyotes all around my house smack dab in the middle of the city in Nashville.
Always wondered where they hang out/sleep.
My dog saw one and barked and it fled like a bitch...even though it probably would've destroyed my 80 lb golden doodle
I always bring him out at night with a giant maglight...one of the massive ones that would be used as a weapon to beat that fricker.

The thing about a wolf is that they respect alpha behavior. Next time you see it, walk up to it quickly in spastic-like manner (to let it know you mean business) and attempt to put it in a choke hold. I say attempt because your alpha-ness has yet to be proven.
If you conquer the beast, get it the smoked brisket sandwich and share it. You'll have a soul animal for life.

Uhh...yeah. The golden doodle wouldn't stand a chance. Honestly, I'd be worried about my two Geman Shepherds if they came across a couple of coyotes. That said, my dogs have been living the life of "R&R" since they were pups.
We do a lot of business in the Nashville/Cool Spring/Brentwood area. It definitely makes sense. Nashville has some very hilly, wooded park areas in the middle of town and the suburbs. It only makes sense that they'd have some coyotes running around. I'm surprised you haven't seen any deer run down Broadway Blvd.

I live in the middle of Green Hills in a town home subdivision. I saw a deer standing next to my car in my parking lot one morning when I went out to bring the trash out early.
It was like 30 feet from me and just stared. They are so domesticated
It did finally run away when I took another step towards it. Big, fat doe.
Also, I've seen a MASSIVE ground hog (looked like it was 40 lbs or something) waddling in my parking lot/back patio. I saw a red tailed hawk grab a huge snake from underneath my porch and fly off like 10 ft from my head. Chipmunks live underneath the porch too (explains the snake) and robins, cardinals, owls, etc are ALL OVER our trees.
It’s crazy how much wildlife is next to me in the middle of the busiest area of a big city. The damn mall is like 1 mile from me and I live directly off of a 5 lane highway which is completely developed on either side

100 lbs Germans in tandem would fricking wreck some 40 lbs coyotes IMO.
My golden doodle however, once cornered a squirrel on my porch and leaned down and licked it on the head. The squirrel bit its tongue and my dog ran off wimpering.
He's one tough SOB

I think you're mistaking it with coyotes, which we do have in the Garden District, Southdowns and a bit of Mid-City.
They're wild animals for sure, but not much bigger than a medium sized dog. You can get them to come up to you. It's pretty cool.

This. My mom lived out near Shenandoah and a coyote tried to eat her wiener dog. Coyote had the wiener dog in its mouth and was ready to carry it off. Fortunately mom scared the coyote and it dropped the wiener dog and ran. Wiener dog survived but had some pretty serious fang marks.
