My wife’s friend was in the building when it happened.
Apparently the guy had planned a mass shooting but the security guard ended it before he could get more people.

Apparently he owed a $2500 outstanding bill to Citibank and decided to shoot the place up rather than pay.
I heard he had made a direct threat and authorities may have been trying to find him before he got there (not sure how true but that is what my wife was told by someone in the building when it happened)
