How could anyone be amazed they feel better after not sucking poison into your lungs?

Half a pack, or less. Usually a pack lasts 2 1/2 days.

This has to be a joke post. If not, you need to quit cold turkey right now.

I for the life of me cannot understand how someone can smoke a pack or more per day. I would feel like absolute shot.

Sure, keep telling yourself that and ignoring real data and muthafrickin science telling you that it's going to send you to an early grave.

You're a smart dude. Come on.

Well, yeah, it'll catch up to me eventually. Just saying that it hasn't impacted my physical endurance. I'm a pretty active fellow, and I don't find myself short of breath or unable to perform tasks.

My dad was like this as well being pretty active and he still had a massive heart attack from smoking at 36. I was a toddler at the time. Luckily we were pretty close to one of the best hospitals in Louisiana in the lake at the time with a fantastic cardio surgeon on call. It was a close call but he made it and quit cold turkey after that and he never looked back. He's healthy as shite in his mid fifties today.

It's going to catch you and you may not be as fortunate. Don't let it happen.

I have a buddy that smokes, but rides bikes and can run pretty damned well for a smoker. But, in a heart beat he'd tell you he does even better when he isn't smoking. It's not that you can't be active while smoking, but you'd definitely be better if you weren't.

I don't smoke on a regular basis hardly at all. But get me to the hunting camp and I smoke and drink nonstop.

Work in a plant roughly half the day for 5 or 6 days a week and smoke 3-5 cigs a day while at work. Do not smoke anywhere else.

From a health standpoint is there a difference between smoking 1-2 cigs per day vs 1 cigar?

Depends do you smoke 1 cigar/day? If so then
Mayo Clinic says no
The NIH says there is no safe usage of tobacco

So I am going to go with no.

I only smoke when I drink which is about two nights a week. If I'm going out all night drinking I'll smoke a half a pack.

They disgust me when I'm sober though. It's like banging a fat chick... gotta be drunk to do it.
