Little over a pack a day before I quit. I smoked for 24 years. Quit cold turkey 8 months ago. I'm amazed at how much better I feel.

No cigarettes, but a cigar a day unless weekends at LSU games or working out in the yard, then well.....not good lol

From a health standpoint is there a difference between smoking 1-2 cigs per day vs 1 cigar?

My roommate and her boyfriend sit on the back patio all night and smoke cigarettes. It is absolutely disgusting. Then she comes and sticks her hands all up in the ice box...

Haven't done it in a while, and was never a habitual smoker. But, when work would get stressful, I'd pick up a pack. A pack would last about a week. Rough times, I'd do it 3 weeks out of the month. Good times, I could go months without a cigarette though. What made me quit completely was working out and excercising. Just feel a lot better without it. I for the life of me cannot understand how someone can smoke a pack or more per day. I would feel like absolute shot.

Practice. I started when I was 11. Back in the 90's we didn't know it was bad for you.

I can tell if I smoke "too much". Adderall in college is what got me started. Studying in the frat house and taking a break with the smokers. One finals week I smoked nearly a pack in a 24 hour period. Thought I was going to throw up. Didn't stop me from smoking on occasion, but could never do more that 6 or 7 a day without feeling sick.

My dad tried the method of making me smoke a pack of Camel unfiltered's one after the other in front of him. He got mad about 7 smokes in and took the pack back. It's a gift I guess.

Before I quit smoking 11 years ago I thought I'd still want them when I drank.

Turns out I didn't. Never have had the slightest urge to pick up a cigarette again. By the time I quit I hated the things and got no enjoyment whatsoever from them.

It's all in your head.
