The woman’s 6-year-old daughter was in the back seat during the incident, according to authorities. A man in the car was also arrested after he tried to disarm deputies during a struggle, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. Arrested were Chynna Dowling, 27, of Mandeville, and Cory Kendrick, 25, of Lafayette. Dowling was being held at the parish jail in Covington on Wednesday in lieu of $1,600 bond; Kendrick was being held in lieu of $1,400 bond.
