The Advocate had an article last month about the students at Baton Rouge High with perfect ACT scores. Is this a purposeful slant toward public schools? Not sure why the local media only highlighted the Baton Rouge High kids.

This is a weird thing to get butthurt about.

Edit: And I just clicked the CHS link, why the hell are 4 of these kids already 19? That would mean they'd have been 6 years old when starting kindergarten.

Double Edit: I'm an idiot and clearly didn't score a 36 on the ACT.

Schools are teaching to the test and these kids take dozens of practice tests. No surprise this seems to be happening more often

Like every other Ot baller on here I didnt prepare at all, showed up hungover AF and made a 32 on my only attempt

They got whites, Hindus, and Asians. They couldn't fudge a score to get a token black kid in there?

Hopefully none of them waste their intellect by going to any of the crappy Louisiana universities

If Catholic High just said it today how would the Advocate put it in a story a month ago?

B/c Baton Rouge High had 11 perfect scores, so maybe the Advocate thought 5 was meh?

Maybe BRHS contacted the Advocate and Catholic did not.

This has been happening for years. It's nothing new.

You can't teach the exact questions, but it doesn't matter. They're all so similar.

99% chance they go Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, etc. and get tuition assistance.

Maybe UVA or something if they want a more well-rounded college experience.

They should absolutely not go to LSU if they know what's good for them. They can always come back to BR with a Harvard degree and dominate if they want to live here.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much here for people like that.

Its really fricked up how schools do this now on every level, even elementary. The whole standardized testing industry needs a re-do.

Louisiana has some of the most diverse universities in the country which lead to growth in areas beyond intellect that are very much needed in today’s business environment. I challenge you to find a more diverse university than Southern.
