Not sure if I want to make a BBC joke or a "It's not going in our yard, Russ." joke here. You choose.

Christmas Tree Farms

It's so sad what they do to those trees. Always shaping and pruning. Get a free range tree from nature or go artificial. Please don't give any more money to tree farms.

The breeder farms are the worst. Not growing up full and tall after one year? Just get ground into fertilizer.

I like to get a really sharp blade and slice it right where it feeds from. Then truss it up, drag it home and display the Carcass in my living room, letting my kids hang decorations on it.

I say carcass, but I have it submerged in liquid that keeps it clinging to life as it slowly dies in my living room, festooned with garland and lights like guts on the barbed wire.

Really festive

In Louisiana we always go to Lousiana Nursury on Perkins, we learned to get good 18+ footers you need to go BEFORE Thanksgiving.

But I’m assuming they would be in the baller price range. In the field they’re much less.

Got a 20 foot recently for $5/foot.

Some old man let me cut it in his farm. It was an actual free and Clark Griswold BR version was born.

That’s why we went early. I second that.
