How's the locals there? Trashy? A lot of people I meet from there seem to be big on Bikes and Bike Rallys. Any lovely places to visit?

eta: Ah turns out there is no S in New Braunfels.

New Braunfels is where trash and antique collide.

Why can't you just go to SA or ATX?

There is one in Schlitterbahn though. Which is why you should go when it is warm instead.

Never heard NB called trashy except for when the west siders from SA invade the river during the summer. What are looking to do? Gruene will be decked out for Christmas, plenty of bars and live music venues to check out. Wimberley is a short drive and has great shopping, can point you in some other directions with more info of what your looking to do (taking kids?).

It's too cold for Schlitterbahn, but Sea World San Antonio is starting their Christmas theme this week. Also the Riverwalk is decked out this time of year.

Those are the Louisiana transplants. They like to run the California transplants off the road along Devil's Backbone.

Pour Haus is the go to bar. Landa Park usually has something going on, but make your waybto Austin during the day for culture/events.
