It’s a funny age. They’re not really into ‘kid shite’ anymore nor are they into teenager type stuff. I have my son’s main present but still wanted to get him some other stuff. He’s into hunting/fishing and baseball and fortniting with his buddies, but it’s hard to single out a couple things in the $50-100 range

What are y’all getting your kids this year?

And no, he’s not into hookers and blow yet

How the hell is your kid 2 ages at the same time?? That's pretty cool!

ETA: Don't they have some pretty solid laser tag type games these days he could play with his Boyz. Chasing and shooting each other was the shite at that age and having a scoring system would have been legit

I'm having the exact same problem with my 10 year old girl.

Too old for toys and too young for teenager stuff.

I know this doesn't help you, but good to know others also have problem buying gifts for their kids in this age range.

Does he have favorite teams or players? My 11 year old nephew loves getting players and team shirts/jerseys depending on the sport and has for several years. He also likes the cards.

He’s already got quite the arsenal for a 9 year old

Multiple BB/pellet pistols
.410 crack barrel
.270
.22

but he lost them in a tragic boating accident so we aren’t gonna buy him any more guns after being so irresponsible

TV B Gone kit. Teach him to solder, make something functional, and give him the ability to prank his buddies.

Can do an FM radio kit if you don’t trust him to not get in trouble with the remote.

My son is 10, he's very into football. He's getting a couple jerseys and some football cards. A few other random things as well. He's not much of a gamer, only plays Madden and Fall Guys, so no new games or anything like that.

He's getting a laser tag type thing as well. He and his friends in the neighborhood like to play that.

Thankfully he's a pretty simple kid.
