This is the one downside when I moved into management in my company. A supervisor always has to be present if the office is open. And as the new guy in management, you can guess who gets stuck with the shite days. Thankfully we are closed today and tomorrow.

Hey - I have a cousin that guides on Lanier. Keeps his boat at Hammond's. I can't figure out the lake with much success so I put my little bateau in the 'Hooch at Abbotts and chase trout with a fly rod. (Stocked fish are easier to catch, right?)

Half day at home today. There is really nothing going on. It’s why I always volunteer to work Christmas week. Easiest week of the year.

1) Christmas Eve is a corporate holiday
2) if now I would use PTO for it
3) I saved enough PTO this year that I took off Friday and don’t go back until the 2nd and still roll over the max of 5 days.
Helps that I have been are my company long enough to qualify for max PTO (21 days)

at work doing yearly inventory. everyone else is off except boss and i and we will not finish by end of year. with the idiots they decided to let take inventory this year it wont be right so look forward to fighting that all this coming up year. we are better off going with what we had before inventory. do get tomorrow off so will count blessings.
