Don’t let these babies know that sometimes personnel parachute into the football stadiums.

They were low, but they are choppers, they could have gone lower.
Sometime around 2004 a pair of Marine Corps F-18’s from Beaufort did a flyover at a South Carolina home game at a similar altitude above the stadium, not in formation but one following the other in a turn if I recall correctly. Was the most badass flyover any of us had ever seen. Cell phone video was pretty much non-existent then, but anyone who was there will remember it.

I was there too. It was so awesome, but I knew it wasn't at a safe height. I could damn near shake the pilot's hand in that last apache.

yep! I can tell you from being there that no cables were that high for them to fly under. It was badass in person! I got video of it.

At least 300 feet above the cable probably closer to 750 cause it was probably 250 feet from high point of stadium. Wouldn't surprise me if choppers flew 500 above stadium. Seen it before and it is not unsafe at all. Less than 1000 for fixed wing aircraft might be pushing it unless it is a Cessna a retired general is flying it around in circles.
I've seen a F18 trainer flyover my town at 1500 feet and break the sound barrier. Broke a few windows. Dude was thrown out the air force. A year later I saw another aircraft black and triangular fly over much lower at dusk extremely slow. Was definitely the stealth bomber but cause it was so quiet no one got in trouble.
American air dominance should be displayed regularly. The most elite of aircraft that aren't super secret should be displayed at the most important sporting events and parades like Macy's. Mardis Gras. New years. MLS champions, MLB championship, NBA championship, Superbowl, women's volleyball championship, uSA surfing championship, college cornhole championship. Because
America Fyuck yeah.

One day there's going to be a catastrophic event when one of these flyovers goes wrong and we have 10000 people dead.
That's like winning a free pass to American Valhalla.

I think flying under the cable is more of the issue than the low altitude.
Someone from either the Titan org or the 101st said that was "an optical illusion". Still haven't figure that out.

. The wires were the ones attached to the goal post net. Below the top of the stadium. They never flew under any wires.
Yeah, Larry Williams is a bitch and everything that is wrong with people today. He talked out of his arse with no knowledge of what actually happened.
The news channel should apologize and make him do it on air.

So is the article lying about that then? Said they saw one in public post videos and the cockpit video that they flew under one.

shite, a C-5 Galaxy flew over Kyle field when I was a junior I think and that bitch got so close we could feel the backwash and see the damn wings flex.

If it’s too dangerous to fly over and even into a stadium, why do they land on the White House lawn?
