I make my decision almost solely on the items that the individual has bought...raw number of items with a deductor for duplications, as they can be scanned really quickly...
of course, I don't even consider the tobacco aisle or the food stamp aisle, as those are hellaciously slow regardless of what is being purchased.

The struggle is always real choosing lines. I had to make an executive decision tonight and it was an epic fail. Something about a 50% claim that was clearly NOT marked on the item. Mgr to register #4 please. At that point I passed up all the better options. Classic.

I fricking suck at picking the checkout line. My wife always picks one and I choose the shorter one and I swear they checkout the whole store on her line before we checkout and I have to hear her bitch

2 Things here.
1. While yes it is shitty to pay your bill in change, maybe that's all he has to pay for his groceries with.
2. At least he isn't paying with EBT or the likes.

Well. My mom and dad still write checks on the reg. They JUST got a debit card. They are almost 70. I still give them shite about the checks. They will never use this card. They don't check their balance at the bank. All account balances are kept in the check book. This really bit them in the arse some years back when they had like 3000 less than they thought. An error on their part. I gotta give it to them. They keep it old school. one major frick up in like 40 years. They taught me how to do my books when I was a freshmen in Hs. I'm about to set them up with auto draft for the cell phones. It's gonna rock their world. They still pay every bill they have with a check through the mail. Love em. So what I meant to say was. I mean mug assholes in line who give my mom shite for writing a check. Go get in another fricking line Dickhead
