Chinese nurse goes above and beyond to comfort baby during surgery

Li Baoxia, who was still lactating, decided to step in and breastfeed the tiny patient, who then calmed down so the surgery could continue. The surgery was successful and the baby is recovering well.

What's on that baby's scalp? Scalp vein IV? ICP monitor?
I'm an ER nurse (dude so you don't want pics) but never worked closely in China. And not in a pedi OR setting.
