I bought my '08 sedona in May of '09. New. Undriven.
It was classified as a "used car" for purposes of my car note.
I hope you paid a used price for it.

According to the article
This inflation in sales can have a direct impact on the companies performance metrics and then the stock price. How well is Tesla doing in Gina vs BYD? Well if their sales numbers are inflated, we would never know.

The source said the tactic was seen as a potential method within the industry for automakers and dealers to support new car sales as they try to meet aggressive sales targets

I did talk them down some.. paid $20k even for it, it has all the neat bells and whistles and an amazing engine- I coulda raced that thing in its prime.
Still have it, still love it, still drive it even over our new 2025 4runner.

If a dealership goes out of business and the cars on the lot are sold off to another dealer, they have to be listed as used because they were already sold once. Mileage has nothing to do with used or not used.
There's no way that's true.

Sedona? What US car brand is that?
ETA: posted bore I was finished. Sounds like a dealer is working around a dealer agreement. Maybe in the interest of Kia to list larger than actual sales. But I bet it was more the dealer wanting to hit incentive numbers.

Kia Sedona.. a minivan. I think they've dropped sedona and gone with carnival now.
It really has been the best car ever.

Could the CCP heavily subsidizing their manufactured incentivize inflating sales numbers?

You posted something negative about China. Noted.

Aren't you a sweetheart?
We paid it off fairly early, needed the van for the expanding family. Simply here discussing instances where new cars are passed off as used.

You left out the bitching part and getting screwed over and you did it anyway. Typical woman.

the twitter embed feature was the worst idea the owners of this site have ever implemented
It must be a moneymaker because it has definitely made it less fun to visit. I remember a time when spamming was frowned upon here.

Once the title changes to the customer, it then becomes a used car.
Well that has to be bullshite. Titles are not released to customers until paid off.

Ohhhhh so it’s gonna be, “i know it’s a 2022 but it’s never been driven so it’s the exact same as a 2025. That’s why the price is still the same”

Never heard of BYD until we visited Mexico City last month. They are popular with Uber drivers. Rode in a couple. Ugliest vehicles I've ever seen.
