Chimes has always been great. It’s underrated.

The owners of Walk-Ons worked with me at the Chimes before they ever opened a restaurant. A bartender and cook. They were learning a successful model, back in the very early 00's. Chimes, hands down.

I've not been around Chimes since the early 00s but it was by far the best place to go.

Walkons in my town sucks a dog's dick. It's poorly run and the food seems reheated frozen crap.

I remember destroying dozens of dozens of oysters at Chimes when they had 25 cent oyster night.

Chimes was really good many years ago. It’s kind of your typical Sysco variety restaurant now. That being said, it blows Walk-One out of the water still.

I’ve read plenty of these “…and it’s not close” comments but this is by far the most legit.

2000 Era Chimes,
They had some of the hottest girls working there.
It was nuts.

And the food was great.

Chimes all the way.

Walk On’s peak was like 2006. It’s been downhill ever since.

Old Chimes is awesome.

Last time I brought my family to Chimes during a baseball rain delay, there was two fricking trannies, one with fishnet stockings and a full beard working as a "hostess" near the front door.

We won't be back and this is coming from someone who went "around the world" way back in the 1980's.

Gimme real females in cheerleader outfits over that shite anyday.
