Just watched an interview with Dallas Police Chief David Brown and wow! What an unbelievable man, leader, etc. Wish he could be even higher up in our nation. Props to him.

He's been a rock thru all of this, and has said all the right things for the situation. He seems solid.

Agreed.

Excellent example of leadership and what a role model should look like

Man that is incredible. Don't know what he said, or who he is, but I'll just go with your two bowing down people.

Contrast him with the guy that is commonly referred to as the nation's current leader. Chief Brown is an intense, natural born leader.

I agree. He's been a terrific leader.

The interview just now of the civilian that was also shot was pretty powerful as well. She watched two cops get shot right front of her while 5-6 others surrounded her and her son to protect them until they could get her to the hospital.

Like I mentioned in another thread, blacks (and whites, too) should be looking up to him, rather than marching for thugs like Sterling.

He talked about the whole scene on Thursday in Dallas. CNN kept on trying to bait him into talking about himself and he kept on deflecting the praise to his officers. I was just stating that listening to him throughout all of this. He is a great leader. That is all. I would love to have him as POTUS

I hear you man. Just ribbing you. And I agree it seems like with all the great people in this country we'd have better choices for the position of leader of the free world than the two arse clowns we have leading the race now....or the one currently in power. God bless the USA

Good man but hasn't been a great DPD Chief. The morale of the Department has been very low under his leadership because of promotion decisions and tactical patrol moves he has made. His job has been teetering for the last year or so with many officers and city council people calling for his removal. This will buy him some time though.

Here is an Article about his troubles

I heard on the radio he has had 3 people very close to him, including his cop killer son, die from gun violence. He understands from a unique perspective what this is all about.
