There are videos on twitter of drive thru lines literally several blocks long. These people are nuts.
My wife said she has to drive down Vets in Metairie today at lunchtime and the Popeyes over there had traffic for all lanes backed up pretty bad.

Port Vincent Popeyes was on point yesterday. Got 3 for me and the gf and one of my kids. Took about 5 minutes.

i went to the central location at 11:15am on sunday. they had a line out the parking lot for the drive thru. I go in and there is no line but i can see people sitting down waiting on food. The lady tells me its a 30min wait for a sandwich. They just opened 15mins prior to me getting there.

Yesterday I am attempting to get home on Jones Creek and see the line wrapped around the parking lot and spilling onto Jones Creek. Then a chicken sandwich enthusiast decides to turn left and block oncoming traffic both lanes to not miss her rightful place in line (and let's just say she could skip a week's worth of meals and not miss a beat). I am pretty sure none of the hype of this sandwich is worth this type of nonsense and chaos.
