Are they still selling the Lord's chicken sammich at Chick fila today? I'm sure they are.

Serious question…
Does West Monroe still smell like shite from the paper plant?
Use to be able to smell that fricker on Bayou Desiard before fall football games. Just before the fronts would come through

You should go to Kravins on the southside of town. On Winnsboro Rd.

Had it earlier in the week. While it is not as good as when the original ownership owned it, it is still very good.
I think my algebra teacher at Neville, Mrs. Lewis, used to own it. It was damn good back in the day!

Church’s has been closing all over—especially the ones connected to a store. I know of locations permanently closed in Watson and St. Francisville in recent days. Seems like I’ve seen others.
I just picked up fried gizzards at Church’s on Government an hour ago. Good stuff.

Tyler Moses dad Fred, I believe, had Podnuh's.
ETA: sorry I misread your response; I read it it was Podnuh's she owned, guy. I'm from Monroe so I'm retarded.

Not as bad as it used to be. Heavy overcast days are when you may smell it.

Yes they do but it is in Monroe on the southside.
I was there earlier in the week to buy lunch for my associates at work. While at the drive through I spoke with a gentleman that was at the walk up window. Guessing he was in his sixties. We had a pleasant conversation. When he turned to walk to his car I saw that he was open carrying.
I am sure he feels the need for it on that side of town
Go to the one in Ruston then, not that much further

Yes, Robert Lewis and his wife owned it with the Swanner family. Robert sold out and moved to Lake Charles and opened one there. I understand he is not doing well health wise.

If it were me, my backup plan for fast food would most definitely be Taco Bandito. For the record.

Do people go there? I've never had it, but I can't believe it's still open. Been there like a decade no?

Pays more to sit on your arse than work.

Been in West Monroe maybe 10ish years, perhaps a little longer, but the original (still open) location on Forsythe in Monroe has been there at least 30 years I'd say. They do a pretty good business, no doubt. It's Taco Bell but with distinctly better quality ingredients. My go to's there are the beef and bean burrito and chicken soft taco. Very good stuff.

I just thought the one in West Monroe wouldn't make it. Not the best location and I'm confused on what it wants to be, fast food or a Mexican place.
Good for them though.
