I keep wanting to stop by because the guy running the menu is actually a legit cook/chef. Just not immediate to me.

I love how transplants are hating on him for buying Fountainbleu and turning it into not-a-piece-of-shite.

I'm not sure who thinks that, but one of my sons oversees training for the company … so he's the one that has to figure it out … lol.

Franchisees v. Operators. There are no franchises at CFA. Every store is owned by the company. You get in for $5,000 (if approved), you run it, you split the profits. When you leave, you leave the store and the property. It's not yours. There is no "owning 49%". Same deal Truett Cathy made on a napkin with his first CFA (according to his book).

You can own more than one, but you better really be good. Lafayette is an example.

Didn't think that was possible (unless a married couple) due to the hours required.

Not if you own the property, like Torres will.

Torres isn't going to be running a chik fila. He might be leasing to them. You can have more then one btw. I know a few people who do.

He is the reincarnation of Al Copeland. Only less bombastic and richer.

Can a married couple have more than 2?

Thought it was still a stipulation you had to put in 40 hours per location.

1) I don’t think Torres is gonna be the operator. He’s just the developer and land owner.

2) CFA will give you additional stores if you prove experience with the one you already have. But you still don’t own them.

I may be a moron. But they changed operators which happens from time to time. The new operator brought in new employees and quality went up.

Sept 16 it opened.

Summer 18 new operator took over.

New operator family has experience operating CFA.

they decide where it goes. Someone wanted to put one in Chalmette and they were declined due to it not being on a major roadway (even though it would fit on Judge Perez or Paris Rd.)

The most Torres will own is the ground lease.
