Who the hell thinks you can train these fast food employees in the city. There is no high school of any standing to pull emoloyees from and there is zero chance any parent is going to let their children work in these neighborhoods, muchless at night.so the next group is the 20 somethings who will not meet any of the chick fil a standards. It will be my pleasure.

I live in New Orleans and I like Chik -Fil-A and I think this is a horrible horrible idea

These will quickly become (instantly?) the worst Chik-Fil-A restaurants on the planet for the obvious reasons.

Then someone needs to tell the guy that just renovated the BK and opened NOLA Chick there.

He knows....he's the one that is opening the CFA

maybe you should read the article I posted.

quote:

Sherman noted that Torres has been operating a Nola Chick restaurant on the site since he bought the property in December.

Torres previously said that Nola Chick would sell a limited menu supplied by his nearby Treps restaurant, with the objective of keeping the license current while he negotiated with potential new fast-food lessees.

If not, CFA will fire operators until they find a good one.

FACT.

The sad truth of "owning" a CFA is that you actually don't, and they can pull that shite from you at anytime.

Not gonna happen. They don’t have enough space to operate. I think the next one built in Metairie is going to be a stand alone store that doesn’t have a drive thru, operates solely as a ghost kitchen for catering and handles some mobile ordering.

It’s a night and day difference between service at the raising canes and the McDonald’s next door on Claiborne.

You mean Carrollton?

But yes absolutely. Cane's on Carrollton is just fine. Wendy's is decent. Never been to that Rally's. McDonalds and Popeyes there are terrible. And that old Burger King (Where CFA will go) might have been the worst in the country.

It's all about management and expectations.

What's interesting about this is that you can only "own and operate" one restaurant. Not sure how Torres is getting multiple locations.

Think a CFA needs to open on Jefferson between Ochsner and parish line. You’ll constantly stay busy between the hospital and uptown area residents flocking and you don’t have to pay Orleans parish taxes.

Will they have a foot washing station for the white employees to atone for their evil whiteness?
