Went to Chick-fil-A on westbank in harvey and it was as clean and pleasant and professional as a 5 star restaurant. Conversely went to McDonald’s on Nicholson by Lsu and it was filthy slow and the staff spoke some version of English I could barely understand. Absolutely aweful.

According to the report, Chick-fil-A employees said "thank you" in 95.2% of drive-thru encounters, based on data from nearly 2,000 visits to 15 restaurant chains.

For comparison, KFC had a "thank you" rate of 84.9%. McDonald's rate was 78.4%, putting it in 14th place out of the 15 chains analyzed.

No. Just... no.

It's not the words, it's the sincerity behind them. I can go to Burger King and get a "thank you" from Sh'kwalanazequeolia but it's going to be the same flat monotone that she used to ask me for my order.

It's also keeping the store clean, the employees looking clean and respectable (no 20-inch nails nor shitty neck-tats) as well as getting my order right and not taking 15 minutes to do it even though "the shake machine is broke".

If’s amazing what happens when you put effort into training your employees.

They have people lined up in the drive through on Seigen every morning when I pass at 6:10-6:15. They open at 6:30. They are printing money in those restaurants.

I stop by one almost every day on the way to work. Get 2 grilled breasts and 3 scrambled eggs which is about as healthy as possible for a drive through. There seems to be 30 people in there tripping over themselves to get the food out as fast as possible. It’s always right and very consistent. The workers are always very polite and helpful no matter what.

I won’t go anywhere else...they have what I want and customer service is the best. Hard to beat that combo.

Not that I love Wendy's, but it is convenient, the employees are always super polite, and they are lightning fast.

I know of a Wendy’s on the north shore that’s generally like this. It’s possible to run across a well run fast food joint every now and then.

The difference is ALL CFAs are like this.
