I just went through the drive thru and they are still consistently pleasant people. “You want me to work without a water break or sunscreen? My pleasure! Means I won’t have to sweat!

I just went through the one on College and they let the girls wear shorts. 2 had on some kind of yoga short. It was very nice.

Is it really that much hotter than normal? I’ve lived in south la for 45 years and every July and August always feels the same to me, miserable heat. The only difference this summer has been a cooler June than normal.

That’s the problem. May and June are supposed to be the foreplay to get us ready for the pounding. We had no warning this year. Now we’re bleeding out of our asses looking for an ice cube to rub on it.

The Rouses by me has their buggy boys outside pushing carts in black pavement wearing mask.
For those not living around here the temp was 98 on Saturday with a heat index of 116
