sounds like a set up PR stunt, wtf takes cash envelopes out and sets them near a toilet in a fast food joint?

What I'm thinking too. No reason to have to make this into a news story any way.

Article states “ Cintron found two white envelopes next to the toilet”.
Could have been on the floor. Very plausible if he was taking a crap and it fell out of pocket.

If I find that money and can figure out who it belongs to, I am giving it back 100 of 100 times. Giving it to HR, the police or some random third party? frick no.

Id be ok with HR at Chick-fil-A.

Random or the police?
No way.

Had a poor experience with STPSO about a donation for a fallen, so now I just mail the check direct.

Posters will commend this young man for his character but would definitely take the money for themselves if they found themselves in a similar situation.

Not 10 grand . Someone’s gonna come looking for that. Either legit money will get police involved, or criminals will come looking for their cash.

You should read the fb comments, especially on world star type pages. Apparently a lot of folks would see it as Jesus blessing them and they'd pay their rent or buy rims with it.

Cultcha is mostly thievery. Arkansas lady was mistakenly paid $1,650/hr for a 12 hour day vs the $16.50 she was supposed to be paid. Instead of giving the money back she refused, claimed it was from a non-existent bank loan and had already spent the money on repairs for her husband's truck. Gave her all the chances to do the right thing before pressing charges. Of course the usual suspects claim she did nothing wrong and was entitled to the funds.

At a Burger King or Popeyes, no. The bathrooms at a Chick-fil-a and Buc-ee's are probably cleaner than most household bathrooms.

I think so too. “Ok, here we go, let me set these two envelopes stuffed with my life savings in the floor while a go number 2. Damn this floor has a lot of piss on it. Oh well, I can think of no better place to set two envelopes stuffed with cash down. Oh man that number 2 felt so good that’s all I’ve thought about for the last 15 minutes. Oh no.. where’s my 10 grand? I hope some honest chick fil a worker discovers it and returns it.”

A lot of these guys and gals are much better in person than they are on here. It is one thing I have learned. For some reason, people seem to feel the need these days to ge totally different, and typically worse, humans online.

I have tailgated and fish with guys on this site that are not even close to being that asshats they are on here.

Great story but I can hear the awful jingle and see the sappy story playing out in one of their commercials during college football season.

What choice did he have? If he kept it’d it would have been stealing. Especially since he was an employee in the store.

If you find 10,000 and it’s clearly not yours, and they can prove you took it, you’re going to jail.
