Why do African Americans continue to kill one another? I hate reading news like this. It ruins my weekend

I don’t know what they can do but bring in swat teams

Get a bunch of Greyhound busses together. Have Kendrick Lamars face on the sides of the busses. Hand out free concert flyers all over the South side of Chicago. Have a venue set up in the middle of BFE Nevada. Bus them there and leave them.

Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city

All around, people looking half dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head

But at night it's a different world
Go out and find a girl
Come-on come-on and dance all night
Despite the heat it'll be alright

And babe, don't you know it's a pity
That the days can't be like the nights
In the summer, in the city
In the summer, in the city

Cool town, evening in the city
Dressing so fine and looking so pretty
Cool cat, looking for a kitty
Gonna look in every corner of the city
Till I'm wheezing like a bus stop
Running up the stairs, gonna meet you on the rooftop

But at night it's a different world
Go out and find a girl
Come-on come-on and dance all night
Despite the heat it'll be alright

And babe, don't you know it's a pity
That the days can't be like the nights
In the summer, in the city

It’s almost comical with the shooting rates in Chicago.

It’s like they are so bad that the government in Chicago basically just washed their hands if it.

My understanding is that detectives for CPD barely solve any of the shootings since there are so many

I used to live three blocks north of 1600 S Indiana. That's a very nice area, due west of Soldier Field, it's a solid 1.5-2 miles north of the hood at that point.

Per capita Chicago gun violence isn't bad. It's just so populated the volume is out of control. Coupled with the don't snitch attitude there is no hope of it getting better,

And guns aren't illegal in Chicago nor are they hard to get legally. I brought my shotgun with me and bought a Glock 17 (albeit with an smaller magazine) without hassle. Just had to wait the cooling off period. I had no problem with that.

Are those filed pics, or is it freezing cold in Chicago in the middle of July?

Damn, South Loop isn't even a bad part of town, and at 5pm?! Jesus.

I don’t think the pictures you provided are accurate. It’s winter time in those pictures

Just checked the weather in Chicago because I was thinking the same thing. It's in the 70's and 80's so yea, those pictures aren't from this weekend.
