Chicago Mount Sinai Hospital hits a milestone

Business is booming at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago.
Wow, great job guys!
I think the Mount Sinai Hospitals should go public and have an IPO soon at the New York Stock Exchange. Their stocks would do really well even with the rising tariffs and economic uncertainty.

This involves the inner city, so the left leaning media on the bigger networks don't really care.

Individual, localized gun violence in large democratically controlled cities won't make much news. Doesn't fit the agenda.

I wonder how many "but whatabout Chicago!" threads we will have this week
I'll set the over/under at 10
we are already at 2 this morning

You should throw in the Baltimore thread as well.
Not surprisingly started by this thread's OP

and yet, it's still worth bringing up in these trying times, is it not?

It's a shame, but you are 100% on point.

Yet we're told we need open borders so we can have millions of illegals clogging our hospitals

Mount Sinai Hospital
Will be renamed Martin Luther King Hospital after someone finds Mt. Sinai to be offensive due to Judeo/Christian origins.

is it? i believe it is important for everyone to see the whole picture when it comes gun homicide metrics in this country, especially with a lot of "let's regulate this" talk swirling around in the national media.
do i actually care? No - i have no travel plans to ChiTown in the immediate future.

Very close, but the bullseye is still unperturbed.
The commonality is the victim class of the perpetrator, not necessarily the victim class of the actual victims.
There can be notable exceptions, but by and large, the media, as representatives of society at large, especially the SJW types, cannot fully look at the problem of black, male violence (especially but not exclusively black males, since black females are disproportionate as well) which is shockingly out of control, and also continue to think of them as part of the victim class.
It creates too much cognitive dissonance.
So, the media cover the stories of the people who were shot and killed, isn’t that a shame, day after day, like giving the daily traffic report. They may actually be brave enough to show a picture of the shooter, or even give a racial description of the suspect for whom we should be on the look-out.
But they never connect the dots. They never ask the question of why this is happening over and over, every day, every week, every year.
Before anyone assumes this is a screed against black people, let me be clear, this is a LAMENT about the current state of black culture which is HARMED immensely by the constant teaching of victimology.
It is an evil on an epic scale to indoctrinate people to believe they are not able to effectively participate in their society because of their color, because of supposed overwhelming forces against them, creating in them a disaffected spirit and sense of no responsibility.

Would be a horrible investment...you think those medical bills are being paid?

Yet, whitey gets the blame for their shite bird behavior.
