This was back when men were men and didn’t have to transition to seek out equal pay

Very likely most of the older children and younger men would go on to serve our country in WWII

quote:People have it so bad these days - can't afford to take their families out to eat 7 nights a week making them learn to cook again, had to cut back on alcohol/weed, might even have to downgrade from a Ford F250 and Explorer in the driveway to maybe a Ranger and a Escape and take the negative equity from the 20% interest rates they signed up for to keep up with the neighbors 6 years ago. Tough times indeed.

I wish hats would come back in style. Seems we all agree they look cool, yet not a derby, bowler, or fedora to be seeing these days.

Chicago back then at its worst looks better than Chicago today.

I got a little uncomfortable with how much time they spent on the old boy passing out at the end.

Wish the camera had spent more time filming the cars and those semis

And yet, I'd rather live there than current day Chicago.
