Chevy Colorado - LT or Z71 Trim?

Been debating the Tacoma vs. Colorado for a few months and I THINK I want to go with the Colorado.
Question is, is the Z71 package worth the money? I don't need the off road suspension but I think the seats can be heated, it might sit just a tad higher, BOSE stereo, etc. What other benefits are there?

Tacoma.

Why though? Colorado is getting better ratings, sits higher, re-sale should be fine. Colorado sales are up, Tacomas are down. Not to mention Apple Car Play seems legit.

Good choice. Colorado shits all over a toyota. Get the z71

For sure the Z71 trim in my opinion. It just makes the truck look so much better with the extra height.

What's inaccurate about that?

Can you elaborate on these?

Ask your boyfriend which package he likes. Or buy a real big boy truck even if it's used.

I could be wrong, but I don't think these are comparable. In the sense that one is a trim package and the other is a feature. The LTZ is the next step up from the LT. You can get 4x4 (Z71) in either trim package.
I'm not sure how the Colorados are, but I have a 2013 Silverado LT. It has leather seats and just about everything I need. The following year they started making the infotainment screen standard in LT. That's the only thing I wish I had (and a backup camera).
That said, I would go with the Tacoma. I'll never buy another Chevy.

"Sits higher" is just a funny metric for wanting to buy a particular truck.
"Resale should be fine" is funny because Chevy trucks don't have near the track record for resale that the Tacoma does.

Come back after 100,000 miles and try saying this again.

God damn, no one can actually have a conversation and say why the Tacoma is better? I am open to either, like the looks of both but could get more bang for my $ with the Colorado.

Chevy and Ford sells well in america because they cater to Americans who use their vehicles for luxury purposes.
If you want an actual vehicle that's reliable, it's tacoma hands down, not even close.
The interior and the amenities on the Chevy will be better, it stops there.
