You and I both know it's a fact. You can try and lie all you want though.

You told the guy to go somewhere else because of biased opinions. Yours is much more biased than mine. So you invalidated your own opinion.

Congrats on backing yourself into a corner. Run a long now.

I'm not surprised I have to break this down for you, you've always been one of the slow ones. Dude posts a thread about Colorado trims, most of the responses are Tacoma and mid-size trucks sucks comments. I tell him to go elsewhere to get an unbiased opinion, referring to the trim options and I took a jab at the Tacoma responses. You talk about how you would never buy a mid-size and you have in the past as well, therefore contributing nothing to the OP's topic. Just like always.

Says the guy that invalidated his own opinion.

He also said he's interested in both trucks. Reading is hard.

Thus invalidating your own opinion.

Just because I would not buy them doesn't mean I know nothing. You, however, have done nothing but take this thread on a major derail because you got butt hurt that someone doesn't share the same opinion on a vehicle as you do.

But yea, I'm the slow one.

You do realize this thread actually started as him asking which Colorado v Tacoma?

"Resale should be fine" is funny because Chevy trucks don't have near the track record for resale that the Tacoma does.

im not sure anything does

Question is, is the Z71 package worth the money?

It does come with a lot of off road hardware that you may not need....but if you are ever on a boat ramp, the standard locking diff is very nice.

You can get it on the other models, but it is more difficult to find.

To answer your question OP, the LT and Z71 are quite different in what they offer. A lot of the security features (blind spot detection, park assist) can be had with the LT and not the z71. Full leather seats are also tied to the LT, along with chrome options if that's your thing, and it has the midnight option. Z71 has the off road tires, locking differential, lifted a little, and also has the trail boss option. Go to Chevy.com and build the two to see the difference

The LTZ is the next step up from the LT. You can get 4x4 (Z71) in either trim package.

Z71 doesn't mean 4x4 anymore. It's generally a package of suspension and other off road type options, but does not include 4x4 unless purchased extra.

Good choice. Colorado shits all over a toyota. Get the z71

I like them both, but I would lean towards the Colorado, especially with the diesel engine.

Wasn't the title different as well? I had thought OP stated originally he was unsure and list pros and cons of both. Now it looks like he was just asking about the Colorado when that was not how this thread started.

No it didn't. He said he's been debating and he thinks he knows what he wants, hence the thread title. He didn't ask if he should get a Tacoma or Colorado, he asked about the Colorado trims
