You've shown your arse this entire thread. I'm fairly certain I'll survive you not thinking highly of me.

Debating means he hasn't made a decision yet. You really shouldn't try to play the semantics game. It doesn't work well for you, especially given the rest of OP's post in this thread.

The rest of his posts stemmed from folks telling him to get a Tacoma when that wasn't what he was asking. See thread title and see OP, I'm sure you'll find some question marks somewhere. None of it matters though because the point still stands that there are other useful websites he can venture to to get a well-informed opinion.

Let's take a look at OP's posts.

quote:

Been debating the Tacoma vs. Colorado for a few months and I THINK I want to go with the Colorado.

Tacoma is clearly still an option for him.

I am open to either
Self explanatory.

I think I'm set on one of the 2

Is that different/better than the SR5?
quote:

Sauce, how much did you pay for your Tacoma?
quote:

This looks like a good deal, no?

That's a whole lot of interest in the Tacoma from OP.

So only opinions that are like yours are valuable?

Question is, is the Z71 package worth the money? I don't need the off road suspension but I think the seats can be heated, it might sit just a tad higher, BOSE stereo, etc. What other benefits are there?

Other than that....different wheels and trim? It has a Locking rear diff which is nice to have.

I don't think the Z71 rides significantly different from the standard truck. The Colorado has a good chassis. They are a lot heavier than the old compact trucks, so they ride pretty good.

I drove a loaded V6 Canyon last year and was very impressed. The interior looked very nice. It was quiet and comfortable.

I really believe I'm going back and forth with a kid. I just stated that his subsequent posts stemmed from folks telling him to get a Tacoma and you post comments that confirm that?

What are you talking about? You like inferring whatever you want when you read something, huh? Seems to be a trend

He clearly has not made up his mind. HE wouldn't have included the Tacoma in his OP if he wasn't considering them. HE clearly is OK with info about Tacomas in this thread. Stop trying to talk down to me.

You look like a buffoon.

Why exactly can't he get valuable opinions here?

I bet it's because there are dumbasses that derail threads.

I never said he wasn't? My original post in this thread was directed at the title and the main body of his OP.

Just ignoring the first sentence and its meaning.

Because there are websites dedicated to the OPs topic. Damn, you infer what you want and you have horrible critical thinking skills.

God damn, no one can actually have a conversation and say why the Tacoma is better? I am open to either, like the looks of both but could get more bang for my $ with the Colorado.

I don't think the Tacoma is a bad truck at all. The reviews just consistently rank the Colorado higher.

I definitely find the Colorado more comfortable.

For the record, I really want a Toyota 4Runner, but would consider a similar SUV based off of the GMC Canyon or Chevy Colorado (or the new Ford Bronco). I just can't justify a new car now.

But your issue was bias. Surely those sites might have some biased opinions.

My issue was folks who have never driven or owned a Colorado (see my original post) proclaiming Tacoma. That does OP no good.

Look, I've grown bored of breaking things down Barney style for you, I look forward to whoever makes you look like a child next since as a poster you are used to it.
