I've had a Tundra for 6 years and have replaced the AC and 2 alternators. It only has 85,000 miles. Forgive me if I'm open to Chevy.

Most Tundras are good trucks. You got a lemon.

I did trade my last Chevrolet pickup in with over double that miles. It honestly never had a single defect or non-wear problem during that time. I maintained it as recommended in the owner's manual, except that I used Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Even the paint job was in good shape when I sold it.

I replaced the front brake pads twice in 180,000 miles.....the headlight bulbs once, the transmission fluid twice. I think the power steering and coolant were flushed once. Probably went through 4 windshields and 3 batteries. Wax and polish once a year.

It was cheap to maintain, and was a comfortable highway cruiser even with a tandem axle trailer out back. I've had great luck with Chevrolet trucks and SUVs. I put between 150,000 and 250,000 miles on them before I trade or sell them. They were all very good vehicles.

Tacoma looks better imo. The smaller windows for the backseats on the colorado make it look funky, do not like.

I think the LT Colorado is the equal trim as the SLE Canyon and SR5 trim Tacoma.
