What's Chevron's profit margin? Do you know the difference between profits and profit margin?

The average Democrat doesn't.

Is this the president's fault or are we happy for the record profits after a year of bitching about high prices?

Just wait until their Dim overlords ban oil and gas.

Do they have a plan for this?

interesting way to invest 75 billion. not sure that's the move.

I mean they could do that or they could invest in Dim political campaigns like FTX. They can’t really invest in future oil production with the communists in charge.

Not sure if serious, but if serious, how (in your opinion) should companies return profits to shareholders? More expensive and less efficient dividends or…maybe i should ask…What is the purpose of a U.S. corporation?

This way of thinking is how all the American manufacturing jobs ended up in China making sub standard products.

This. They have zero reason to do anything but make as much money as possible.

I would bet people would lose their minds if they knew how much money companies like that pay in taxes that aren't labeled as taxes on revenue. That's where Democrats lie and tell you that corporations are evil.

I'm a fan of Chevron's CEO, Mike Wirth

He’s a lot more cost conscious than the last CEO, which is why they’re hitting record profits.

Strange, I thought everyone quit these jobs because it weighed on their conscience.

And the feds made 18.4 cents per gallon of gas, and 24.4 cents per gallon of diesel chevron sold.

Any or our O&G guys know how much per galling chevron made? More/less?

Ohh no! We can’t have our most successful and brightest citizens running for POTUS!

I’d vote for Wirth in a heartbeat

Is just odd that gas prices went up. People were slapping "I did that" stickers on all the gas pumps. Meanwhile record profits were made.

I get they have to do what's in the best interest of the stock holder, still it feels like a sting knowing they the gas prices were inflated.
