I guess my cousin probably won't be trying to go after those API certifications anytime soon.

Can't really say which office. I believe there is quite a few CVX personnel who are members here or are lurking.
The Laffy office (retirement home) is basically in the process of shutting down. I know a few people who have already been relocated.

What type of job?
Working on vacant houses. The guy I have working there was making about $3500 per week but he's gotten lazy and is falling behind instead of hiring help and growing his business. He's down to a little over $2K a week.

No real need for it now that they are basically selling everything except for deep water

Counselor? Your earlier post makes it sound like you work for ACORN

He deals with kids trying to decide which muscle car suits their needs in an everchanging job market.

Sounds like some ad I would read on a telephone pole (with more words of course)

I'm sure glad I'm an Engineer. Work is always plentiful for me. Poor folk problems don't concern me.

You're a douche. He works for chevron. He's not poor. They are just laying people off.
On another note I wouldn't mind being unemployed for the next 4 months. It's almost hunting season
