I have a friend who owns a few fake designer bags. I always found it funny to watch her female, and occasional male, friends fawn over her new bag. She'd let them go on for a bit and then announce in a loud voice, "COUNTERFEIT!" It was hysterical to see the different reactions.
I'm sure if I had a real designer bag next to a fake and examined them both, I could probably pick out the better quality bag. But what hetero male cares? Not me.
