I halfway expected it honestly. I expect to lose to Clemson next year as well. I do not think the season is over but we don't have what it takes to win these huge opening games.

Maybe not a single game but if the whole season goes bad then it’s a bummer. If they can’t win the CFP then least give us a big upset win over a rival or something to celebrate.

Vowed a long time ago to not let the Cardiac Cats ruin my day. I split some wood, baked a cake, drank some whiskey and made fun time with the lady!!!

normally I watch every hype video, read every article, for months im counting the days until LSU plays.
Idk if its because I knew we weren't that good this year, or if i'm getting older. but this loss didn't sting at all. Ill skip the nichols game and go to my camp.
Its nice not being pissed off today for a game played by 18 year olds

I bleed p&g like everyone else here but it is after all just a football game. We'll be fine after we stomp Nicholls and get our mojo back.

Tell you what though, we should have won that game Sunday. We have somehow *got* to purge the stupid penalties from our game.

Coaches going conservative on both sides of the ball down the stretch didn't help.

Every year I get older, the better and better I get with this. Certainly at a good spot now……

I respond with humor. All the guys I watched it with did too. It’s small potatoes. Focus on the important things in life, like buying new truck nuts or stealing internet from your neighbor or eating delicious cakes and pastries.

I was in Cleveland for a wedding, didn't really watch any football from Thursday-Saturday

drove from Cleveland to right outside of Memphis, TN in about 10-11 hours~. Figured I'd stop at a local spot and eat some dinner and watch the game.

Had a nice steak, but after I got done eating, I was ready to find a hotel and call it a day. Watched the 2nd half at the hotel and then got some ice cream after to consolidate the loss.

Woke up the next morning and did some shopping and ate some Memphis BBQ. Overall a pretty good weekend that wasn't getting ruined by a bunch of 18-23 year old college kids

Fortunately, Good Guy LSU Football has helped ease me back into acceptance of this, over the past 5 years.

I checked out when I was told how much I was hated and everything was my fault by the players themselves during Covid. I also learned how much fun hiking nature trails can be.
