I was at a boil this weekend and saw a couple women doing this. I've never seen this before then. Blew my mind when I saw it.

It’s a smart way to avoid the feeling of my eyeballs being on fricking fire when removing contact lenses after soaking my fingertips in crawfish for an hour.

Sometimes you can wash 100x, but after your fingertips and nails are soaked in hot spicy crawfish for long enough ...when you swipe out that contact lens, your eyeball will remind you that you should have worn the gloves.
